Who else here is bored with life? Not depressed, but just bored.
I have a good job, but the idea of owning my own house, or getting married and starting a family isn't something I care about. I don't like life, but I'm not depressed either so killing myself doesn't appeal to me.

Go innawoods in your free time and pratice survivalism/combat.
The economic collapse is near!
I know that feeling anon. I think the root of the problem for me was lack of purpose.
Try setting goals for yourself, like learning a language or instrument, it might make life more interesting when you have something to work towards.

I agree. It all feels so empty. None of it appeals to me. All "practical" pursuits, to maintain the status quo and economic system we live under, feel mundane and meaningless.

It needs to hurry up. I had high hopes for re-living the thrilling, terrible early half of the previous century, full of revolution and ideas of new societies, new gods and a new Man. Syria is the closest we've gotten something to partake in, but there were no Christian militias accepting foreign volunteers, only Kurdish communists looking for Vice-watching dolts to serve them tea.

Varg has fine internet. If you homestead, you'll find pursuits outside Jurchin sable skinning yurts, very quickly.

Modern society destroys purpose. It relishes in its own apathy, and slovenliness. A man concerned with his society, with his world, this is threatening. Our society banked on an end to history and philosophical and moral development.

As a native english speaker whose made attempts to learn a bunch of different languages, including Spanish, I would recommend learning a Germanic language, like German or Dutch. For the first time learning a new language, its helpful because it comes from the same language tree as English, so most of the grammar is pretty similar with few new rules you need to memorize. Also a lot of the words are pretty similar too.

>getting married and starting a family isn't something I care about.
So many of my friends are already beyond that point, being in debt and all that stress.
I dont know how people can live a life like that.

>trying to learn German
>Anglo tongue grew up in Texas
>easy pronunciation of Spanish and Slavic flip/trills
>all German feels like unnatural mish-mash.
Sadly, no interest in Spanish culture, due to animosity towards Mexican culture and lack of Spaniards.

Yes, but do we want to merely distract ourselves from our own lives, on the internet, with an instrument, in a book? Surely you want to be a participant in life, not merely an observer?
Try /pol/. Closest thing we've got to fascist/communist/socialist/anarchist outcast ne'er-do-wells that had no sense of purpose or place in their societies, so they made new ones, or died trying.
