People are bullies to manlets because it makes them feel better about their own insecurities.

It's because when you meet an asshole and he's short you can just go "Oh he's got a Napoleon complex." When a dude is tall and attractive it's not so easy to tear them down a peg.

At one of my first jobs(a cafeteria) there was this regular who was just the cuntiest motherfucker ever. Complained about everything. I got him to never speak to me again by asking him "Is being short really that bad?" There's no easy one liner that's going to have someone who isn't a manlet angry for days.
