Makes me mad seeing a young girl clearly suffering such mental torment. I can see the pain in her eyes and it resonates deeply.

I just want to take her parents and shake them and shout at them and demand to know why they allowed this to happen to her. They have the resources to have prevented this. It's not like they were crack heads or anything.

The tragedy is that so much of this pain and misery was preventable through peaceful parenting. Instead, she is forced to endure the agony of an uphill battle because of their neglect and abuse, just like so many of us here.
