ublock is completely pointless to use over adblock unless there's something specific you want to block, I use to use adblock but I was unable to filter tumblr ads, so I switched to ublock, but that anon specifically referred to youtube videos which adblock can easily handle.

And yes "adblock" can literally refer to ANY adblocking software, you're just pulling straws right now.

Best part about this app is if you click the headphone icon above any video you can play it in the background while you do other stuff on your phone. I have youtube red so I don't really need it but if you're broke as fuck I guess it will make you happy.

I'm running uMatrix and I randomly get ads at the beginning of videos. I don't know where they are coming from, and uMatrix's blocklists aren't working against them. I always reload the page if an ad occurs. At one point I had to reload 50 times or something before they stopped appearing, but that hasn't happened in a while.

Doesn't work anymore, they deliberataley made it so that all adblock (or Ublock) users get unskippable minute long ads at the beginning of EVERY video. Taking it off gives you shorter ads for a bit, but no matter what they always force you to watch at least 5 seconds of an ad.
