OP here. I've had quite a few. I practised it religiously for a few months years ago when I was like 17 (26 now). Since then, it's been perma-ingrained into my mind so occasionally I'll become lucid in my dreams, especially when I go back to sleep in the morning when I randomly wake up for a bit

Literally just wake up during a dream (REM) using an alarm and then go back to sleep thinking about lucid dreaming.

It takes 30 seconds to set an alarm for a 50% chance to become lucid when you re-enter the dream.

Then you should also know that it is not worth the effort. By the time you inserted, you woke up / lost lucidity. And if you manage to keep it working, you'll br spending all your energy trying to keep the dream stable.
