I was grew up in a fairly small town ~40k, now I live in the city. Honestly I prefer living in the city because in my old town you couldn't go to the grocery store without running into someone you knew from school or whatever that wants to chat. It felt suffocating I prefer the anonymity. If I could move somewhere all by myself on a farm or go Unabomber mode though I would.

Also I forgot to mention this will make you feel worse for being a social outcast. Some kid here died and he had a qt gf and there was facebook status people changing their photos and a giant funeral. I know if I died people would literally just mention it and move on.
