I don't think the undervaluing of labor is because of capitalism, but an oversupply of humans, because breeding isn't regulated and is spontaneous to a degree. /pol/ would blame woman's freedom to work as well, but I digress.

arguably there could also be high barriers to market entry (small business) through gov't regulation (to afford ins, workmans comp, health ins, etc) and through wealth consolidation

Rate my working life

>42k per year in euros
>Five weeks paid vacation
>Sick pay, pension, Life assurance, health insurance (taxed on the benefit of the health insurance though
>Nice office, nice workers, comfy enough
>35 hours per week, might have to work 40 if busy
>No over time pay, but will soon be able to build up extra hours worked as extra day off.
