I disagree, I've seen many corporations cave in to their demands.
SJWs can affect consumer demands, they boycott things themselves, and browbeat others into boycotting them.
Just a couple of weeks ago a company in my country went into full damage control mode because SJWs took offence at them suggesting that we could have a reasonable discussion about gay marriage instead of just advocating for legalising it.

There's no reason we can't exert similar pressure.
