How do I know if I have toenail fungus? I have what seems like a thick coating of brown tint on some of my toenails, and I just wanna know if it's dirt or fungus

Does it smell? Rub it with your fingers then smell it. Is the discolored part also thicker than usual? Or more brittle than other nails?

I've noticed my feet smell if I don't shower every day and my toe nail has weird ridges in it but my feet only smell if I walk in my bathroom barefoot so I think my dad just has gross feet

Toenail fungus smells really bad no matter how often you clean until you get rid of it. It's very noticeable with socks off.

I didn't really notice much of a smell. The entire toenail has white scratches over it and the tip is pretty brittle, but I've heard that could also just be shit because of vitamin deficiency

Are you less likely to have it if you cut your toenails frequently. Anything special you should wash them with like epsom salt or something?
