I've had this exact thought, but then realized two things: First, I realized that it's possible that a person exists who is worth helping, even if I haven't met them. Second, I realized I was attempting to justify doing things by claiming it was for the greater good, when really the things I wanted to do were just inherently enjoyable.

Now I just do the things I enjoy, and hope that they can be of some help to another unfortunate autist who comes into this world in the future.
