However, Trumps speaking ability is in his awareness of his audience. He speaks like the old guy down the street that the ordinary man and woman know, and have respect for. He isn't pretending to have the same sterile speaking patterns as establishment politicians, for whom making grammatical errors or using misjudged colloquialisms would have been detrimental to their campaigns.

I have no doubt Trump could speak with the same polish as Obama (inb4 if if if okie doke) or Clinton, it just isn't in his interest to do so.
