arrr how be the waters today for the S.S. N.E.E.T
why must you remind me of my old childhood books?
My parents threw them away and I'll never be able to read them again.
I'm curious, you don't see scurvy much any more. Would you share your diet with us?
I was never that malnourished even though I have stayed on the high side of underweight my entire life. I noticed a dramatic improvement in wellbeing once I started working on my diet. Maybe it's the memes but vitamin D is my thing. I also like zinc and magnesium. B vitamins are fun but niacin makes you turn red and itch all over. Riboflavin makes you piss neon yellow, kind of cool.
It's a lot of work maintaining a normal bodyweight, but we have to eat something. I try to make high calorie with high micro content choices. A daily multivitamin helps if I miss anything. Since including probiotics I wonder just how much good the supplements are really doing. Kombucha, water kefir, lacto-fermented foods, and just general not being a pussy about food spoilage. It's good shit. That last part is more laziness than anything though. I can't be assed to put food in the refrigerator, but I can't be assed to throw it out only to still need to eat something.
