That's why they take jobs in construction oil finance etc. No need to come up with New ideas there. This is my exact problem.
I find most right-wingers to be painfully boring, and the people I actually fit in with interest-wise are way too far left for me.
I actually really wish I were a liberal, I try to brainwash myself into it and I just can't do it. Sometimes it works for a little while if I block out all conservative opinions and media and only look at/listen to liberal opinions, but as soon as I see something on the right I would normally agree with I start to drift back.
I live in an extremely liberal city and everyone constantly openly shit-talks conservatives. I honestly feel kind of alienated. If people knew I was even moderately right-leaning nearly nobody would want to associate with me.
So I just hide all my opinions, never discuss politics, and just nod and agree with what everyone says without giving any input to the conversation.
After a while it actually gives me a bit of anxiety having to keep up with this.

I went to the university with the 2 guys who started making the lego films, which eventually got picked up by lego officially. Not sure if they have a hand in making the current films, but they were the catalyst for the big stuff.
