If you do meet a girl who reads /lit/ she'll think she's so fucking smart and superior to your intellect you will hate her. And 9/10 she will be superior to you in her literary knowledge. Trust me you want the YA girl and then you want to show her true /lit/. That way she doesn't act like some smug cocky know it all cunt about all things book related.

I think the best you can hope for is a girl that reads genre fiction. At least then you know she reads for enjoyment, and not to impress her English prof.

Although I've read the meme trilogy, I tend to stay away from /lit/ books (philosophy in particular) because they can't hold my attention and literally put me to sleep.

If I were to meet a girl who only reads John Green and such I might introduce her to Don Quixote or Ivanhoe. I'm in love with Historical Fiction myself and I'm not going to force someone to read something they don't want to, it's actual torture. Don't you remember having to read garbage like The Great Gatsby in highschool?

Young adult fiction. It's fantasy books, love stories, etc aimed at middle school age she children. For some reason a lot of millenials and women think they are educated because they read this middle school garbage. It's also one of the reasons why JK Rowling thinks she is some kind of Political genius. She and her followers literally think the Harry Potter story arc (a fictitious string of events aimed at middle school children) is a valid argument to prove a political point.

I was honestly impressed. She had VERY broad tastes and her reading habit had gotten so out of hand her sister was forcing her to get rid of some of her books. If you think about it, a chick would probably be disgusted if she walked into a guy's room and saw that many books and he wasn't a 8/10 at the very least, but this girl apparently had guys crawling over each other for a chance at her. A bit depressing.
