remember when you were young and something as simple as a soda-pop could elicit sincere pleasure? the rush of juking another kid in a game of tag, making your first 100k in runescape and so on...
what happened?

>did computers fry our brains?
well i still enjoy soda pops and im online all day every day.
Still does though. I cut out soda completely. I drink one glass every 6 months or so max. It tastes so great if it's rare.
>did computers fry our brains?
Unironically yes though.

>ywn play tag again
Damn, this hurts more than it should. The idea of running around shamelessly and playing tag with my friends sounds so much fun now.

I was a child experiencing childhood. I was 12 when I made my first 100k. I was 15 when I quit RS with 300M. It got boring. HS was a drag. College is worse. Work is cool tho. Not as cool as playing RS was back in the day.
>be 7
>get off school Friday afternoon
>mom takes me to video store to rent a Nintendo game
>play game all night and through the weekend munching on snacks and drinking soda pop
>feel happiest of happy and content
>tfw 33 and don't like vidya anymore because it got too commercial and lost its heart and stagnated

Doesnn't mean you can't enjoy it. There's still great titles out there. Don't let others spoil your fun.

Masturbation and drugs have ruined life for everyone. I felt hollow too, then I stopped masturbating and now that I go to bed early.. I wake up able to feel the simple pleasures again. True story.
