Slowly. Losing weight is largely diet-based, and while exercise is important, the most important thing is just that you do it somewhat regularly. If a 2.5 mile walk is making you exhausted just keep at it, shit will get a lot easier.

It's not, luckily. Back in the summer I would bike twice that distance in that much time, sometimes three times.


Winter here fucking sucks so much dick though. I can't go out unless I'm wearing full winter boots because if it's not snowing then it's shit puddles up all over the streets until like mid-May. My first time going for a walk after months of staying indoors there had just been a snowstorm and my legs were cramping up after 10 or 15 minutes.

I should defintely get an indoor bike for next winter. I'll at least do some kettlebells and squats and other body exercises later.

Of course you don't have to eat exactly that, your diet can be as varied as you want it to, but the hardest part is making it a habit to eat healthier/less food. I used to drink a load of soda every day, and cutting out that sugar was hard as fuck, but once you get used to something like that it's second nature and I don't even want to drink soda anymore, much less crave it like I used to.

I think the government and all fitness youtubers/etc are retarded. They focus way too much on EXERCISE like it's a big meme that will make you lose weight.

Losing weight is simple: you eat less. You put yourself on an 800 calorie/day diet and you don't cheat EVER. That's the way to lose weight. Doing MemeExercise does not make you lose weight. The government and fitness professionals need to stop implying that exercise helps you lose weight. It barely does anything to increase your daily calorie expenditure. The real answer is to stop fucking eating 2,800 calories per day you fat fuck. If you can't do that then just kill yourself.

Yeah, I use to drink god damn energy drinks every single day, two or three a day sometimes. Big ones too like Monster.

I've managed to cut those out by having instead a can of coke and a cup of coffee. Still, Coke is going to have to be cut out, that hour of sweating around in the winter wind was basically one coke can's worth of calories.

I don't see the logic in a diet as drastic as 800 kcal/day. It will be extremely hard to maintain, and you also run the risk of malnutrition. If a fatty normally ate 2800 a day, cutting down to 1800 will be a lot easier, allow them to get plenty of nutrients, and still lose 2 pounds a week.

No but really mate you have to build up to it, you do a walk until you're sore but don't tire yourself out, do a fair amount stretching everyday and take a break from exercise if you feel really sore the next day or pull a muscle or something.

If you want to lose weight you need to eat less and better in general, you don't need to count every calorie just try to eat more fruit and veg and less greasy stuff, just don't start doing something stupid like those shitty smoothies or protein powder and do something that would burn more calories than simply walking, usea treadmill at a jogging speed or standing bike or something

Eating less shouldn't be that bad if you manage it right, don't just cut your diet in half because you'll probably just give up, just sometimes when you think about having a snack say "no ill wait to dinner" or when you have a meal make or order slightly less than you normally would, trying to have only three meals a day helps too, and don't eat before bed!

If you switch from cheeseburgers to tofu overnight, you're gonna have a bad time.

Slowly incorporate more raw foods into your diet. Eat the vegetables and healthy meals you enjoyed as a kid, and branch out from there.

Once you start changing your food, your definition of junk food will get healthier as well.

I still eat meat maybe once or twice a month, whenever I want, but the meat cravings are mostly gone.
