Anyone else done with online relationships?
I feel they are too cumbersome for so little return. Just words in a screen. If they get bored of you, they just delete or ghost you. There's nothing much besides talking. Getting attached just hurts because you don't share a life or contact. Even if you travel, it's just a few hours of hanging out and then go back to just talking.
I'm bored and tired of everyone online. I just want to be alone.
I want to be the plain doll in real life, even though I'm biologically male

Don't we all, anon? Don't we all...

I thought I wouldn't fall for the online relationship meme again. Unfortunately I did. Even though we will be meeting irl soon I can relate with you OP. I know the relationship won't last for more than a few more months and it makes it seem a bit pointless.
The thing is that for us it's way more difficult to find people we can really relate to irl. Chances I would meet someone irl that I would bond as well as I do with my current partner are way slimmer.

Someone end this nightmare

It is hard to relate to irl people, but at least they don't hurt as much. Not the people I'd call friends.
Online you're just words in a screen for them. Don't matter how relatable they are, they can press a button and never talk with you again.
I prefer to be alone

Seems like you have had shitty experience. I'm sorry about that, anon.
I guess it's inevitable that some people are going to treat online relationships like shit due to their nature. I think I might be guilty of that too to a degree.
You shouldn't lose your hope and give up on people though. Not everyone is like that and I'm sure you will meet someone to be happy with. Be it online or irl.
