They are living in a different period of history.
Just like when the Europeans first arrived america and found communities living under the Neolithic age, at the same time Europeans were already developing the 4th stage of western Civilization.
We are now on the 8th stage of Civilization, which is proving to be quite cyclical. But Muslims are still living on the middle ages. They never went through ages of anthropocentric realization and rational revolution, like the Renaissance and iluminist ages. they never went through secularization of society (separation of church and state) and social insurgencies (female and minorities flights for rights). That is, although they share the planet with us right now, culturally they are quite behind. So behind that we feel like we live on different worlds.
Maybe the conflicts that flourish between our cultures and theirs will lead to the destruction of one of the sides. Maybe they will destroy one another. If given time, slowly they would go through all stages of Civilization that Europe went through centuries ago. Only time will answer.

They're pissed cuz the US and EU suck up to israel. They're pissed cuz of the petrodollar an monetary policy and the way the us and EU suck up to the Saudis. They're pissed cuz their countries have been laid waste to because the EU and US want to build a pipe line from Iran through Syria to the Mediterranean. They're pissed because they intuitively know their religion is a watered down version if Judaism and Christianity. They're pissed about being conned into Europe and herded into slums. They're pissed cuz there's no jobs for them in Europe....The litany of reasons is exhausting. Not to mention they're just fucking animals and should go home. They're especially pissed that Saudi Arabia hasn't taken one blessed refugee.
