Has anyone been able to successfully shut themselves completely from the world?
And I'm not just talking about going outside but the internet too such as websites where you can interact with other users.
Recently I've been disgusted with everything around me. I dislike websites like half clover even though they are the only outlet for me when I'm bored and want to chat.
All I see everywhere is mindless arguments, obsession with sex, and many more tedious topics.
It's vile. Nobody can have a decent conversation with anybody else anymore. Everything's a joke.
Anyways, I wanted to see if anyone can give me advice.

Going to the extreme doesn't really help. What I do is just stick to activities where I don't have to interact with those people at all. Here, I can hide it. I stopped trying to talk to people and just focus on solitary activities

That sounds nice, but unfortunately it's rare.
I never visit /b/ because it's mostly sex crazed just like this board..come to think of it I only come here to feel less alone since everybody is generally lonely.
