>tfw references needed even for part time minimum wage
I-I guess I'll just stay on neetbux then....

Welcome to the post-Women's Rights job market.
>literally lied and gave random numbers with made up names
>implying they will call
>implying even if they do it matters
>always get the job
references are usually ignored OP dont worry about it, you can just use family members if youre that paranoid
>buy burner
>put on accent or sound older
>give generic response. don't talk yourself up too much
It's literally that easy.
Yeah, what is up with these employers nowadays?
>looks at your resume
>sees that it is mostly blank
>into the trash it goes
>doesn't call you back

I'll try this. Worst that can happen is not getting hired.

I've had quite a few jobs and I've told all my references that my resume had on it to expect a call, and never once have they been called. I'm starting to think it's a meme just to filter out people who are anti social

I think it's because most employers know that you wouldn't bother putting someone as your reference unless that person was going to talk you up as a god

Don't listen to this. Employers are starting to catch on and will sometimes throw you a curve ball in an interview. I was someone who used to just lie out the ass on references until I went in for an interview at your standard retail-cuck job. And was completely caught off guard when they started asking in-depth questions about them.
Long story short I damn near walked out of their crying because I got humiliated interrogation-style by two retail Chads.

You must really suck at lying if you can't get the basic tenants of lying down:
1) Your lie should be somewhat believable and ingrained in truth
2) You should do research for your lie.
3) Keep your lies consistent
I've never worked a retail job, but given a few minutes of researching I could probably bullshit experience at most places.
