>watching a movie
>romantic stuff starts happening between characters
>have to turn off the movie
anybody else do this?

Not movies but anime, I always skip/endure the romantic moments
>watching porn
>they start kissing passionately, like real lovers
>boner is dead, cry a little, close tab
They should put a warning about affection and intimacy
is that all the nerves that is connected to the brain?
interesting
>>35706351
you could ffwd rather than turn off. That sort of shit usually only lasts for a couple mins and its only purpose is to acknowledge their female viewers, otherwise they might turn off
>>35706351
I don't really watch movies, but that type of thing bothers me regardless of medium.
>>35706829
And that's why Azumanga is my favorite anime.
>>35706883
I'd watch it. But then I'd definitely cry too.
>>35706351
No but I skip moments of emotional conflict
I do this every time. And this
>watch Seinfeld
>George is doing something autistic

I love romantic movies, but only when it looks genuine. I hate the bullshit love at first sight moments. When two characters have had tension throughout the entire movie, I love when they finally get together. Even when you know the two characters are going to get together as is the case in the various animated Disney princess movies such tangled or anastasia. The roguish criminal gets with the feisty princess after half a movie of tension. It's magic.
>>35706351
It's even worse when you've had actual romance
>>35707166
yea but the fact that they get together makes me wanna tear my eyes out
>>35707198
Why? Don't you enjoy seeing cute couples together? The type that you know will likely be together for a long time or forever? Doesn't it warm your heart that there's still true love out there and maybe you'll be lucky enough to experience it someday?
>>35707211
no because I know deep in my soul it'll never fucking happen
>>35707236
Maybe there is something wrong with you anon. You know, when normal people want something and it pains them to think they won't ever get it they usually do something about it. Like changing themselves.
>>35707286
fuck off you don't know a damn thing about me
>>35707211
I think you're still young. Once the cute couples you're seeing are a decade younger than you all you want to do is kill.
>>35707298
I know that you know you'll never find someone. And I know that you know it's for a reason. And I know that you know that reason is you.
Guess I do know somethings after all.

>Grrrr fkn normees if I cnt hav nethin nic no1 can >:(
>watch show or movie or game
>character is about to get in trouble or tell someone off/something major is about to happen between two people
>literally cannot handle the second-hand cringe/anxiety
>skip episode or turn it off altogether.
jesus why does this happen? I can literally feel myself sperging out because of some made up situation.
