I don't really understand the manlet thing.
I'm under 6' (I'm 5'10") and out of all the things I've felt insecure over throughout my life, my height wasn't one of them.
My mom is 5'6" and my dad is 5'5" so I'm honestly happy with what I have.
I understand insecurity over actually being short, but being short isn't the end. As I said my dad is short. He's had children with other women too, so if sex is your concern then that's good news.
If you guys are anything like me, your failure in regards to the opposite sex lies with something beyond your height.

I'm well over 6ft and have never had a GF. Now early 20s an planning on being a wizard, life is pretty good.
Really not sure where the whole "height matters" thing comes into play with dating

Because you are only a manlet by /fit/ standards. Actual manlets AKA people under 5'8 have it pretty shitty.

Yeah, I get that a lot of things are shit. Most of the concern though I've seen is about sex life. Not sure if my dad was just really good at women, but he's had one kid each with three different women, not to mention anyone else he's fucked.
So there is still hope on that front.

I'm 5'6 (168 cm). :(
Italian/Spaniard living in Chile 5'9" a couple centimeters over the national average, I've been in the US and UK for holidays, never felt short at all

Not just sex life. Height is a big factor in a lot of things. If you're short, people are a lot less likely to take you seriously.
