I started making up characters while playing when I was 10. Im 26 now and still think about them couple of times a day.

It started just as a couple of kids who lived in the same world with pokemon. Eventually it grew into a story where there is basically a big military organization who makes robots which people use to fight with in large competitions and leagues. My main character Jack and his group of friends basically grew up into world class roboteers together with me

Everytime I watched/played or read something that spoke to my imagination I somehow worked into my world. For example: the main office from the military org. is shaped like Midgar from ff7 and is located in Tokyo, but somewhere in this complex there is also a small cafe run by Rene from the classic sitcom "Allo Allo", and Tony hawk has his own tv-station doing stupid sketches. These are just small examples but In the past 16 years this world became so complex with so many characters that I start to question my own mental health.

Oddly enough, despite all the details I've fleshed out, I still can't decide on a name for my character. There's a handful of names that I like. In my head I just refer to him as like my guy

This is truly the greatest autism. It's such a strange feeling, realizing that you've been building on this imaginary you for years. I actually changed it up and made another one recently.

My old fantasy me was pretty standard for a young loner to come up with. Taller, buffer me with a big sword who finds himself in a new world. Generic stuff about being kind to the residents of the area, but understanding that he was an outcast in their society and couldn't expect them to immediately warm up to him. A lot of fantasies about how he would do difficult and possibly dangerous tasks or quests and slowly make friends in the new, strange world. I've thought way too much about him and his adventures.

Nowadays I've moved away from wanting my fantasy me to be an outcast or loner. Not going to go into too much detail on my new autism, but now my fantasies are more about a samurai-ish me who wanders town to town helping people and making friends along the way. Much comfier and more pleasant than my first detailed fantasy. The fact that I recently started watching Rurouni Kenshin is only increasing my tism, these early episodes are giving the exact vibe as my fantasy.
