I started balding when I was 18. I'm 21 now and it seems to have slowed/stopped with thin hair on top and a receded hairline. Looks pretty good short but I look much older than I should and have no idea how women would feel about it. I expected to go bald at some point given family history, but even at 25 my dad had a hairdo like morissey. I'm mad that mine went so early, and I'm kinda short too so that's not doing any favours

The thing I'll miss most is that if I eventually get a GF she won't be able to run her hands through my hair

23 probably receding hairline since 19 or 20. Apparently pretty slow, started minox about 2 months before this picture (at 3 months now with increasing results despite semi-irregular application)

Considering Propecia, I imagine I'd easily make a full recovery. Still hesitant but I've finally found legitimate research describing how the sides are bullshit besides perhaps a few extremely rare cases (which aren't proven nor understood). I understand there's a 5mg version of propecia prescribed for prostate cancer or something which is far cheaper than either generic or brand name propecia, and lasts 5x as long. Meaning if you can manage to get that Rx, you can potentially keep your hair for only a few dollars a month.

I'm bald and it sucks. Also have a huge scar on my nose so when light shines on my head it also reveals my scar on my nose. But I still try and work on things I could change like my health. If you could grow facial hair that will help. If not just try different fashions and put on some thick black glasses or something. Just don't let yourself go or try growing it out.

My mother's dad was balding at a very young age (saw his wedding pictures where he was in his 20s I think and it was already pretty bad). My nephew (23 years old) is balding pretty badly too, he's also from my mother's side. My other nephew (also mother's side) is 27 and he still has a full head of hair. They're both from different fathers but have the same mother, the one that's balding has a bald father( I can only assume, he has two different profile pictures, one is where his pic cuts off at his forehead and the other one he's wearing a hat), and the other one still has a full head of hair.

I started balding when I was 16. I did the Rogaine stuff, but it was incredibly messy and inconvenient. Used whatever the shampoo is, but it's super expensive and gave me tons of dandruff. Tried finasteride, but it's also expensive. It seemed to slow down the loss, but I said fuck it. Literally just shave it and lift weights bros. You'll be better off for it.
