Im a college student with 50k debt will graduate with 60k. I still start salary at 60k. Rent is 500 for a room and my car cost me $850 it's a 1993 Camry that runs strong.

2015 Ford Focus. Got it for the fuel efficiency since I work in sales and I drive around a lot.

I live in Silicon Valley. Best I can hope for is 900 for a room in a seedy part of town from a Craigslist post, but that is certainly an option as well.

Grad student, roughly 24k a year in an expensive city through teaching assistantship. No debt from undergrad. Getting by, but it would be nice to make a little more and travel during what's left of my youth.
