There's way more people out there attracted to the young than you think, That includes people in the entertainment business. You can see little details snuck in all the time if you look. An innocent kiss here, a skimpy outfit justified by a specific scenario there... this is the world.

but I don't like little girls
I like little girls that act like adults

no idea why . for me it's gotta be way past my age or way younger.
>>
>watching john wick
>normie starts laughing really loud when a girl specifically slits her wrist
>not even funny
>>
>>35678231
A lot of normies (especially now) either can't deal with serious situations or are simply incapable of empathizing because they've never thought enough.
>lol everything I enjoy I do ironically lelel I'm cool cuz I say it's dumb
Shit is annoying.
>>
>>35677928
Normies can't empathize with anything other than quick shallow laughs and associated fluff.

We're talking about a generation that has never truly suffered in anyway and grew up in an age of SnapChat and Vine (good riddance). Even /tv/ doesn't have much patience for anything other than meme humor anymore. Ask a normie girl what her favorite movie is at anytime in the last 15 years and it will inevitably be "anything with Will Ferrell". Stories distract me from liking pics of shoes, anon.

tfw you don't read books
tfw yow don't watch movies
tfw you don't even watch tv anymore.

Just NewGirl on Netflix while texting, and Taylor Swift looping on Spotify forever.

TFW I no longer have a face.

It depends on what the sad scene is about.
If it's about loss then normalfags arent going to feel shit.

Exact same experience for me. Dick load of spoilers incoming.

Scene when the people are trapping the kids toward the end? People behind me burst out laughing at how the fat black kids runs (for his life, by the way)

Burial scene? Burst out laughing at the same black kid holding the action figure.

Scene when professor X is having the seizure in the casino/hotel? Start laughing when Laura guts the guy after he gets injected (this one confused me more than it upset me, how can this even be construed as funny?)

Professor X says "that fucking albino" toward the beginning of the film? UPROARIOUS laughter.

Caliban talking about how Logan can't read without glasses? Genuine chuckles when he says 'Ibuprofen'. As if that was a fucking punch line of some sort?

Charles death scene? THEY THOUGHT HIM THINKING THE TRUCK WAS THE SUNCHASER WAS A PUNCHLINE. HOW?!? IT WAS CLEARLY A INTENDED TO BE A SAD MOMENT.

The Charles burial scene (the emotional apex of the story for me) THEY START LAUGHING WHEN HE STARTS HITTING THE TRUCK

Why do normies think that a single detail totally changes the mode of an otherwise EXTREMELY DEPRESSING scene? If there mood that easily raised by little things? Is that what being a normie is, just allowing anything and everything to alleviate a heavy mood?
>>
>>35679521
All of those with the addition of
>Charles apologizing to everyone in the casino after having a seizure
>literal uncontainable laughter from the public
Fuck these people, just wanted to see the movie in peace, wtf they gotta ruin it?
>>
>>35680299
That would have REALLY pissed me off because I know what seizures do to people and there tends to be profuse apologizing afterwards

That scene actually hit me hard as fuck because of that detail.
>>
>>35679027
>When she tipped over the cross to make the X I was sobbing "You don't fucking get to do that!". It was so fucking good.
That part was corny as fuck, and gave me a laugh.
>>
>Professor X suffering from alzheimers. The most powerful mind in the world, this genius, this man who changed the lives of hundreds of young mutants, gave them hope, the leader of the X-Men, resorted to rolling around in a wheelchair inside of an empty tank repeating old commercials over and over
>Audience laughed at that because wheelchair man say silly things
>Professor X calls Logan a fucking disappointment
>Logan visibly crushed at the man who saved his life, his father figure, the man who showed him a new way, who introduced him to a family after all those years which he finally lost, he called Logan a disappointment
>Logan visibly just completely crushed by this statement
>Audience laughs because he said fuck.

Without spoiling the other things they laughed at was Xavier apologising to everyone in the hotel, and Logan beating up the car.
Neither are comedy scenes. The only thing that was meant to be comedic was when Xavier pulled the face to show he swallowed his pills.

Afterwards I heard two guys say it was boring compared to other superhero movies, because it wasn't generic capeshit.
>>
>>35678710
i like this guy. Told it like it is. How do you knoe this though? U must have friends and talk to girls.

Also can u elaborate on this shitty shallow humor/fluff u speak of. I dont understand this shit. It seems if u dont get their awful akward baby jokes and comments to be funny then ur an immediate outcast and probably psychopath to them
>>
>>35679027
That was actually really corny, altought i can see what they mean by that.
>>
tfw this is why shows like Game of Thrones ended half their plots and killed half their characters in one season. So it was easier to follow. To appeal to this very audience.
>>
>>35679521
The fat black kid trying to run is fucking funny. It's like the marshmellowman's nigger cousin ffs.

Did you miss the part where the ending is brown kids slaughtering white men?
>>
Only part I laughed at is that black kid trying to run, it was hilarious
>>
>>35677928
it's a shitty capeshit flick, why would you take it seriously?
>>
>>35682299
Did you even watch it faggot?
>>
>>35683274
i have, unfortunately.
>>
I don't know about you guys but my theater laughed at the part when he was running through the forest screaming in the last scene
>>
Sometimes when you're with your friends and something really serious happens in a movie it's just really funny.

Mostly because you're experiencing something really serious in the company of people who usually aren't serious at all. The situation just becomes kind of absurd when something like a character dying a tragic death happens while you're sat next to your mate who's a bit of a dick.

It's not some mental condition of normies, it's something anyone with friends can relate to. Pretty much every film can potentially be a comedy when you're with the right group of friends also which makes the serious stuff even more laughable.
>>
>>35678710

Yeah you're so much better than everyone else bro.
>>
>>35679521
Him hitting the truck is funny. It's a display of impotent, childish rage from a man who's 150 years old. It's comical that he's being observed by a little girl who has more control over her emotions than he does. Something can be both poignant and funny.
>>
Jesus Christ this thread is filled with pretentious fucking dweebs.

This post now applies to all of you cunts

>>35683393
>>35683393

You robots need to understand that you are the abnormal ones here. These people you look down on for being stupid can fully appreciate and express the intended emotional response to a movie, in the proper context.

When you're out with your friends looking to have a bit of fun, guess what? You're going to have fun and not sit there being a bunch of miserable fucking faggots like the people in this thread.

Yes I get it sucks for guys who just want to enjoy the movie as intended in the cinema, but the people laughing aren't morons who are infinitely inferior to your mighty robot brains. They are guys out having fun.
>>
>>35677928
I was laughing like the entire movie. It was a good flick. Watched it on a monday morning so it was only me and my friend in the theater.
>>
>>35683474
Not only that, but the movie is not merely a cryfest like these robots are implying. It does have funny moments that are meant to break up the tension and bring a little levity to it. Even as dark as this movie is, it understands that a wholly depressing, negative experience is not generally desirable in a movie.
>>
>>35683474
All this does is reaffirm my idea that people who watch cinema with others are massive plebs
>>
>>35683509
Anyone who uniroincally calls others plebs has a massive superiority complex and is an insufferable, irredeemable human being. Get over yourself.
>>
>>35683509

Nobody's going to the cinema to analyse the fucking movie. The only reason bots pretend they are doing that is because they have no friends to go with.

I've gone to see movies with friends before and barely even known what the fuck is going on. It's just for fun.
>>
>>35683516
I just have better taste than most people when it comes to cinema (and I'm a bit of a pleb too)
Don't think I'm better than them or anything
>>35683540
>Nobody's going to the cinema to analyse the fucking movie. The only reason bots pretend they are doing that is because they have no friends to go with.
Except I do exactly that
>>
>>35683474
>Yes I get it sucks for guys who just want to enjoy the movie as intended in the cinema
I mean I saw it with a good friend and there wasn't much joking at all (which I was surprised at myself since we rip on pretty much every movie) but idk. Maybe it's different for other types of normie.
>>
>>35683540
>Nobody's going to the cinema to analyse the fucking movie.
I mean I'm a moderate pleb but if you don't at least attempt to think about a movie on a level that isn't just "lel is cool shit happening yet" then what the fuck are you even doing

Maybe that's just me, I really want to go into filmmaking and I've been trying to figure out how it works (or doesn't work). Most of the friends I see it with know this about me, and some are doing the same damn thing. Once you start analyzing movies critically a whole new world opens up for you.
