OP here, it is possible, people actually do win lottery jackpots. Most I ever won is $60 twice for matching 4 numbers. If I wasn't desperately trying to win I would only spend $20 a week on lottery, diversified between the 3 big lottery games for both draws, like 3 Super Lotto, # Mega Millions, 2 Powerball at 2 draws each, Powerball is $2. You might say its a waste but most people spend more on that on "entertainment" per week and checking lottery tickets is probably the most exciting part of the day.
