Hey man, it's a process. I know you can do it. Think about diet, as not dieting... but rather as permanent life changes.After all, diet really only means the food that you eat, not actually limiting your calories.

Don't starve. Buy your own meat/chicken/fish, get some veggies, even rice.

Eat cereal for breakfast if you want, don't overdo it, make some eggs, yogurt, and even skim milk. Fruit like bananas, oranges. Stuff with vitamins you know?

Go walking outside at the very least for 30-45 minutes, for 3-5 times a week, and give yourself one day out of the week to eat like a fatass.

Keep it up over a month, and see what progress you've made.

You have to remember that changes like these take months, not days. It's about patience and preserverence.

I used to be just under 300lb, I was able to get down to 180 within a couple months. It's very hard, and takes a lot of dedication.
What you need to do
>keep exercising, mostly cardio for the first month or two.
>don't just run for 5 minutes until you get tired. Hit the olypical, and walk as much as possible. It helps if you can be active for no less than 30 minutes, at least 3 times a day
>stop drinking soda, ESPECIALLY if you feel for the "diet" meme. The aspritame fucking ruins your body, in more way that one.
>drink fuck tons of water, at least a gallon a day
>eat real food. Nothing that comes from the freezer section. The quality of the food can make a bigger difference than the type.
>stay away from starches and carbs as best you can.
>when you start shedding pounds, start lifting and doing things to tighten up the excess skin that will be left over.
That's basically what I did, and I lost almost 100lb in less than a year. But I went fucking hard. I was at the gym/out walking every day. And didn't stop when it got uncomfortable.
It isn't easy, but it does get a lot easier after not too long. but you gotta be dedicated, anon. Or it will never happen.

Any time someone says they tried counting calories and it didn't work it's all but guaranteed they either underestimated the amount they were eating, or got tired of it and stopped trying after a few weeks when they didn't see results. If you eat at a 500cal deficit and get at least some light exercise a few times a week for at least three months and you don't drop a single pound, then you might have a point (and should also see a doctor because something is wrong with you)

The peoplease who tell you exercise is useless are just wrong. You need to be pushing your body while maintaining a slight deficit of calories. Reducing your grain and sugar intake will help this go even faster.
