You can improve your weight, employability and so on, thats not a question. What is questioned is if you can improve your happiness. My answer to that question is no, you can't, because you have to be "other" to achieve this self improvement, you have to be someone else, and its tiring, stressful, unfulfilling, and ultimately you exit the role, the pyramid of lies collapses, you stop, and you crash hard.

I gave up on the notion that being imperfect meant that I was doomed to a life of loneliness. I acceptrd that everyone is imperfect. I never gave up on the notion of self development. I just started doing it for myself rather than to reach a goal.

If you keep telling yourself you're not ready for something, you will never be, because there will always be something critical to improve about yourself. There is no such thing as being ready for a gf. Either you play or you don't. I chose to play despite my flaws.

As a result, my self-confidence has dramatically increased and I lost my virginity not too long ago. Other problems came from this, but so is life. Self development is a life long journey.

Nobody is inferior because everyone is.
