And where would you get this uranium, exactly? It's not just lying out in the open. You'd need heavy machinery for digging that wouldn't even have been invented yet

1500s were probably not a very pleasant time. Aside from being able to show a few scholars how to do linear algebra and calculus and maybe some chemistry, there wouldn't be much you could show them, since they wouldn't have the information required to do anything g with what you showed them. All you could really do is set them on the path to discovering the technology required to bring about the modern enlightenment slightly faster. For instance, you could try to teach them about quantum mechanics, but nobody would know wtf you're talking about.
