So I'm guessing that the whole "things will get better" phrase that people always said in high school was another normie meme?
yes you guessed it right
What have you done since highschool to make your life better?

of course it is a meme. give me literally one reason why things would automatically improve over time.

What has anyone done except doing what they're told? For some people that will work because that's enough, others can do whatever they're told and still get shat on.
Just to keep high school kids from killing themselves is all what it is.
It's all about perspective, I've met people much worse off than me but they are deluded into thinking that they are fine and that keeps them happy. Or maybe I'm the one deluded into thinking that my life is bad, who knows.

What the fuck are you on? People do what they enjoy.
You think things will get better without you doing LITERALLY anything? You'll land a job you like without persistent applications, you'll code or play guitar or whatever without working on it?
What, you think a girl will walk up to you and like you for your bland personality?
Just go rot.

It was basically propaganda targeting high school and middle school kids because suicide rates were pretty high.
I don't think anyone outside of kids who were seriously bullied ever went "Hey, now that I'm 23 and am struggling with finding a career that I enjoy that also pays a rent and have to struggle to keep up with friends and make new ones, I'm way happier than when I went to high school where money was a non-issue and people were socially obligated to befriend one-another."
