Who /schizo/ here? What's it like at its worst? Are you aware of it when it's bad?
What was the onset like?
I'm worried, man. I'm fairly sure this isn't schizophrenia yet, but I constantly feel like someone is watching me.
I pretty much don't sleep anymore, except when I occasionally pass out) because I have to keep checking if there's something in the room watching me. I even moved to a smaller room because of this.
I only feel comfortable sitting in corners because that way I know there isn't something in my blindspot. I'm also too scared to get drunk or high because that means letting my guard down. I can't even jerk off anymore, it's too uncomfortable.
I don't know if I should see a psychiatrist.

That sounds very irrational unless you live on the corner of a busy road or in the heart of a big city with constant pedestrians. If that's not the case you should see someone man.
Self-diagnosed edgelords incoming.

If you want, try to take a SCID interview or consult the DSM-5. Severe schizophrenia is mainly genetic. If you were okay before, it may be just a form of psychopathy.
A psychologist can decide whether you need medical/psychiatric intervention or not.
After 5+ years of antipsychotics - I have one thing to say, be weary of chemical lobotomy.

How the fuck is paranoia a form of psychopathy

Ever heard of paranoid personality disorder, my friend? I was using psychopathy in the sense of mental illness.
Paranoia isn't a disease itself, but it's a symptom included in several typologies, some of them part of the schizophrenic spectrum.
Do some reading before talking, it's not that hard.
I believe the album ITAOTS was written about me and outside forces are prodding and poking to push me towards suicide.
I've had this delusion for many years, and to make matters worse a mural similar to the album cover was erected in my town. I also have periods where I hear voices that talk to me and talk to each other and interrupt my thoughts. I'm also very old and have never held a job. And I never leave my room. I've never consulted a doctor about it.
