You know, I have looked at a couple articles related to suicide and after comparing the then and now, one thing kept raising: escapism.
I mean, let s take a look at the life of average men 50 years ago, most people were illiterate and radios weren't very widespread, so our only escape was to actually meet people or alcohol, the first being a lot cheaper than the former, cinemas and theatres were not in our homes as it is today.
Then came radios and a couple people started to stay at home to listen to it, that is the "first version" of the internet, boomers happened and their offspring grew with radios, education was also on the rise so nerds as we know became widespread (formerly found only among the elite, most likely), they did not breed as much as their parents but still had plenty of kids. The other versions of the internet were televisions, cassetes, video games then internet itself (the next one being sexbots), each of these stages showing a reduced amount of offsprings. [1] Since 1950, the void among the people has been increased drastically. Now, I am not blaming electronics or the male (electronics have been conquered by the male first, as a way to fill their void), that is very close to what happens to drug junkies. Society thought that indulging ourselves in electronics was ok and did very little aside from saying "stop doing that, it is bad for you", they were right but we chose to rationalize by arguing that it is better to stay home than outside risking doing drugs. Deep down, it was just a way to step away from the obligations society had set for males.

But girls have always loved that attention, that has been taken from them and Chad was loving this and have had mistreated every single girl that decided to call him out on his bullshit, but shit talking Chad to her friends suddenly stopped being effective because options weren't as large as it once was, a good slice of the males were busy in their escapism.
What is so good about radios, video games and computers? Lets check it out. Suddenly she was showered with attention because the male have always wanted a female that shared the same interests as him, since reality has become too boring because he kept indulging himself, the bitter ones had no power among their friends because dick > club. But humans record their bad experiences really well and tend to generalize, the girl quickly discover she has a lot of power in her hands and start to mistreat them as revenge, her vagina opens doors to many things and now she can have a world bought for them, along with food at any moment of the day. She join forces with her friends, now the few have an army that they despise.
Does feminism make sense to you robot? It is a symptom, not the problem, but it seems too hard to fix now and both sides are at fault. But it is never our fault, right?

Literacy was 97% ( https://nces.ed.gov/naal/lit_history.asp ), and the golden age of radio was drawing to a close as people switched to television. But still most people had access to radio.

people in the 1900s were actually more read than people in the 2000s because libraries vs internet
