it's a movie that didn't need to be made, not only did we already know the story of how they got the death star plans, we don't care.

regardless, it's a good film. actually feels like a star wars film and isn't a total shitshow like the force awakens was.

the holy gritty realistic sad action movies starring a strong female role is so predictable and done to death that i just dont think its worth anyones time. Good guy wins bad guy loses with a gender twist is not creative, so if you want HD graphics go for it coz that and dialogue is only thing the story has to offer

It's a LOT better than EP 7 and most of the prequels. Still kinda forgettable, it's definitely a movie that was only made to appease Disney's lust for money.

Yes. I'm not a child and cool things are generally only cool when they're done in moderation. An entire movie with Vader always on screen would reduce his imposing presence.

i liked it better than TFA but they tossed a lot of leddit shit in their during the reshoots which take you out of the movie every single time because they're so shitty and obvious. i really liked seeing the logistic side to the empire instead of just a hero battling some evil thing. the empire feels very tangible in this movie, more so than any other star wars movie

though the two main characters are shit for the most part
