question for truckerbots
is there any chance that i could learn how to drive an 18 speed truck even though ive never even drove a manual car just automatics? im around trucks all day and even get to service them and change their air brake pads and the idea of how many gears they have and shat gear you want to be in for a certain speed and how to shift it without using the clutch and changing hi/lo and splitting sounds insanely hard but id feel awesome if i could know how to drive one
theres a truck driving school that is 3 weeks long that is like 20 miles from my house but considering i dont even know how to shift right or the proper way to would they probably use me as a joke and just laugh at me and yell at me for being an idiot? or would i have a chance and probably get a cdl in just three weeks?
Yeah no one here probably even knows what a clutch pedal is bro

is it just me or is there only 8 or 12 gears there

Even a retard could do it, they'll laugh at you for being an idiot but you'll learn and once you do it's natural.
My grandpa taught me how to shift in his rig when I was like 11.

i dont think the reverse counts and low-4 to gp to 5 you flip a thing up one front and then 1 becomes 5 and goes up from there and every gear you are in cam be high or low so everythibg besides reverse is 18 speeds

8 (with hi-lo it would be 16, kinda).

oh I'm dumb I thought 1 is low and 5 is high but there is 1 low and 1 high
