they are these only anime series i've finished and they're all good. Oreimo is a bit racy, though.

Yeah don't start or even really go to Naruto. Watch some Bebop, Full metal Alchemist; fuck just start by watching any anime that made it to Adult Swim t.bh. Anything that got there is normie enough to go west but with enough depth to crave more. Any Studio Ghibli is a good start as well.
