If I get a virus on average once a decade without an anti-virus, and so far it hasn't even happened yet, I don't see what the point of an anti-virus is for someone who isn't retarded.

Windows Defender is good enough if you're not retarded. Just don't pirate any software.

If you don't use virus protection how do you know if you have a virus? Not every virus makes their presence obvious by forcing pop ups and changing your default search bar/home webpage.

I have no odd processes running. I've never had any weird problems at all related to computers.

If the government wants to spy on you, there are very few things you can do without limiting your computer usage a lot.

It can't hurt to run a virus scan every now and then anyway, I usually do it every few months. Usually nothing comes up.
