This entire idea is antiquated in every way, from gf to job to social groups. This isn't hwo things work anymore.

Previously there were pathways available in which a genetically/socially disadvantaged man could improve their circumstances. Now these men are almost wholly fucked. If you don't have a social life in HS, you're likely to never have one. If you don't have what women want growing up, you won't have it as an adult. If you have difficulty finding a job at 22, you'll likely have difficulty finding a job at 32. If you got caught shoplifting when you were 18, that's now there forever.
