I wouldn't find that weird, if anything that's a more interesting conversation than the average thing I'm forced to converse about with my friends.
Oh shit I thought I was the only one who did this. Videos of actual war and chaos give me this really unique feeling... like shit is about to go down. It makes me feel like a warrior, or sometimes I tear up without emotion.
I also always loved the drills and lockdowns at school. I might have been born to be a firefighter or whatever, but mostly it is an addicting emotion.

This so much. My favorite 9/11 videos are ones from the perspective of the chaos on the ground. Like, ones where you can see people crying in disbelief, cursing, screaming, ones where you can see the jaded firefighters covered in dust, the shellshocked police officers, ones where you can hear the reporter's voice crack.
