I know alot of people on here bitch about wage slaving, but does anyone actually enjoy their job.
I thoroughly enjoy mine. Like I could take a vacation or 2 from it but if I won the lottery. I'd bank the cash and still work here. Anyone else pretty happy with where they work?

My job might actually be the thing keeping me alive, to be honest.
11 Years ago at this point, I went insane. This lasted a few years, and when I sorta became ''me'' again, I'd lost my friends, my face, the love of my family, my teenage years. I'm not gonna drone on about it. But by my hands I managed to turn the years I looked forward so so much in an almost literal hell for me, but even worse, for others.
But one thing I always imagined as a kid was working in a factory being a man taking care of stuff. Being a real working Joe. I looked up to my future self, in a way.
Now in this timeline that man will never be... But when I'm working my job, getting me hands dirty, getting a pad on the back by my boss after a big task completed, ending my shift and closing my locker.
I'm playing pretend. I'm pretending to be the man I've always looked up to. And sometimes I can close my eyes, and believe it's real for maybe just one second. But that second, is why I love it.

Would you like to maintain that until retirement or now that you're in it would you like to move up, be in your bosses position one day.

I'd like to move on up more within my department, but no, never get the boss' job. I'm great where I'm at, thanks.
I hope the thread will light up soon.
i love my job. it's fun to drive big machines in the dirt and it pays enough that i can be neet 6 months of the year and still afford expensive toys and hobbies
and my family stays off my back about everything
If I'm careful, I could probably fully retire next year. But, I've had some longer hiatuses from work and I do get a bit depressed.
I'd need something else to do other than just drink beer and watch TV.
If I could find that thing, I could leave on good terms.

So you're out of work 6 months a year? Do you combine any of your hobbies as a second source of income then or just play with the toys?
I don't love my job but usually I don't mind it that much. Last time I was NEET it was for 3 months before I got this job and I went insane. I don't know how people can live like that, the days just fly by and you don't improve your life at all. Working isn't so bad. I joke with co workers, go on lunch breaks, fuck around on my phone, talk to customers etc and then I get paid and watch my money stack up.

The people really do help make the job.
I think to not go insane as a neet you probably don't require any human contact other than the online abuse part. But no irl contact
