my favorites are empyrion and life is feudal. morrowind is also an underrated classic, better than the next three es games.

empyrion in particular is a criminally underplayed game. one of only about 10 games I've put over a hundred hours into in my life.

For the sake of fairness HL2 was originally supposed to have much more depth to it, then that German dude leaked the game and Valve trolled him while also changing stuff about HL2. Though I will admit that of course a point of it was to show off its engine, Crysis did the same thing back in 2007.
