The world was always full of sexual deviancy and crimes.The only difference was that the sinners prayed and payed their sins away by paying indulgences, by attending services and donating to the Church.
Christianity didn't suppress sexual deviancy or any sex crimes: it merely allowed The Church to get obscenely rich by guilt tripping all the degenerates into coughing up their money in order to avoid Hell.

If you want to know why there seems to be more sexual deviancy now than ever, then you shouldn't be looking at the decline of Christianity, you should be looking at the juridification of personal/private life, looking into Foucault and the Panoptikon, how the state controls public concepts of decency and sexual morals.
You should also look into technology and the internet: technology means more sexual acts can be recorded and showcased, and internet communication means that these sexual acts can be shared and copied to everyone in the world. That's why it seems like there's more sexual deviancy today.

The real way to reduce abuse of sexuality is in my opinion, through widespread mass practice of psychoanalysis.
