There's nowhere to go. There is a shift in society occurring and it's no longer funny to make posts about wallowing in self-pity. Many people are genuinely in despair over their lives for non-trivial reasons (aka not because of no gf, but because of things like a bleak future of wage slavery or invalidity due to health concerns).
