I don't have a really strong OCD but I do have some. I always checked the door is locked multiple times. I zero-sum my turns. I align things. Many things people do trig me. I wash my hands dozen of times everyday etc.

98% O but mainly because I manage (or try to manage) my compulsions

Dont have actual OCD but I feel you on the getting trigd part. I've gotten to the point where literally reading second intentions on someones phrases gets me into the seventh circle of trigger hell.

No joke I felt like stabbing my best friend in the heart because I saw him cutely drop his pencil for the girl he likes to pick up so he could start a conversation with her. Only to then get even madder as he started asking her about her grades like he gives a shit. Luckily I didnt mess it up for the guy lol

I had Pure O but Zoloft basically cured it. I still obsessively think about philosophy and learning new facts and sometimes crafts but they don't cause me anxiety so I don't care. The beliefs I had that did give me anxiety was I was afraid of getting sick, afraid I was a homosexual, and I was afraid I was sexually attracted to my mom. I didn't have any compulsive activities that allowed me to rid myself of the anxiety so I was constantly stuck in that world. Also, my brain would obsess over anything. Like I heard about that humming sound in New Mexico that drive some people near insane and I kept thinking that it the humming would suddenly appear where I was.

about every hour i will have to retrace everything i did in the previous hour and if i mess up or it doesnt click i start all over.

usually takes 5 minutes on average but if my ocd flares up it can be up to an hour of thinking which then means as soon as im done i have to start again on the last hour i was thinking.

Music helps. I don't mean listening to it, I mean more 'thinking' like a piece of music.

OCD is like a circle you can't stop walking in, but the brain perpetually retraces back and forth it like a straight line. It is like an infinite loop.

If you begin to think of the loop as a repetitive piece of music you eventually start wondering when the song changes/ends.

It is a little weird at first but effective for huge soul-crushing loops.

Think of it like singing for stutterers.

I have OCD. I need to be in control of everything at all times. When I go to bed I have to put everything EXACTLY in the right place. Cleaning is a nightmare because I get dragged into harmonising every unclean spot.

I cant controle myself.

If I leave the house. I have to check 5-6 times if everything is ok and walk back in.

When I lived with my parents it was worste.
