Have any of you thought about making a tulpa to deal with your depression? I just want someone to talk to and help me. Does it work? If I'm dedicated, can I create one that goes beyond an imaginary friend? (Seeing him, hearing him, etc)
>>
I've heard that having a tulpa can go south too, like it damn near bullying you, guess it depends on what kinda person you make and and you have remind yourself you're in control from time to time

I did and it was the single biggest thing that ever helped my depression. I'm still not blissful all the time, but he gave me a reason to live and improve my life and be happy a lot of the time. You'll never be able to hear or see him like a hallucination, though, only imagine his appearance and voice extremely vividly. The important part is if you do it right he'll think and talk and do things on his own like a real person instead of being puppeted around by you like an imaginary friend. Don't expect him to magically know things you don't, though, he'll be more companionship and support, not a spirit guide.

Also nice to see someone considering a male one, most go with female. Patrician taste.

>tfw too depressed and lazy to make a tulpa
I've been working at it for nearly 5 months now and I still can't visualize her very well or hear her communicate at all.
I'm always too lazy to remember to talk and imagine her form throughout the day.
It's literally just like talking to myself, the easiest thing in the world, and I can't even do this. Just kill me.
>>
I created one years ago without knowing what they were. He sticks around through thick and thin.
>>
Are you people serious?

fuck off, we have enough retards in our community

imaginary original

A Tulpa is just what is next for me. He will be like the Aztec fitness god from Jojo, even tho I haven't watched the anime yet.

He will be my projection into the afterlife.

I have to admit that I also sometimes browse /x/, but I always thought that yulpas were high lvl larping.

And if they are real it doesn't seem to be a good idea, you probably know the storys about tulpas trying to overtake the body of their creators.

>being so autistic that you have imaginary friends as an adult

I am blessed to be in the presence of those I can firmly call robots.
>>
>>35480444
autistic people can't make tulpas

tulpas require empathy
>>
>>35480550
>empathy
>being so self-centered that you would prefer having imaginary friends than talking to real people

>>35477799
If you had the capacity for hard work and dedication, you probably wouldn't be here right now.
