I loved writing essays in college. I would do it for friends for cash pretty often. If I had a class that was essay-heavy I knew I would ace it because that was my greatest skill as a student.

The war on drugs and how police have discretion in where they enforce drug laws. Specifically focusing on arrest rates from low income/black communities. The thing is I can't just write whatever about the subject, I have to write an analysis of 3 seperate sources on the subject, comparing them and seeing where they contrast, what biases there are, whether their facts are reliable, etc. I'm supposed to quote heavily from the sources/paraphrase, which in theory sounds easier but in practice it's just annoying.

I guess i could do that, I probably won't though. The professor said she really looks forward to reading my paper. I don't think that was just an empty feel good statement either. I'm not a good writer by any means, but I've looked at the papers other students have wrote and they seriously read like a middle schooler wrote them. This school has set the bar extremely low.

I always put off essays until the last possible minute. I'd start them like 2-3 hours before they're due so I had no choice but to type. Don't waste your time on essays anon the people who grade them are retards with no qualifications. Best you can ever do on an essay is a 95 and the worst you can do is an 85. I doubt they even read half the essays
