Will my life improve if I cut out all excess dopamine?
I'm going to try
>cold showers
>no 4chan
>no tv/movies/anime
>nofap
>no tasty food
Anyone try something like this before? What should I expect?

Fuck, I need to do this. All of them except fap which I don't do. I'm a slothful dopamine addict.

I wish I had the balls to jump off a bridge.

>im a slothful dopamine addict
Same my friend. Half the reason I'm doing this is to be more productive. The other half is that I heard people that take MDMA feel waves of depression afterward because of the huge dopamine surge they get while on the drug. I figure maybe my body is having a similar effect and that's why I feel so dead inside
No. you will be miserable and pent up

Ah I guess I misunderstood dopamine somewhat thanks. I still feel that all of this somewhat undeserving positive stimulation maybe harming myself in some way
>>35460906
I'm already miserable tbqh
>>35460765
You won't even do it for a week, what's the point?
>>35461085
Let's imply that I would though

OP, much more important than what not to do (which is all of your list except cold showers), is to identify what you want to use your time working towards.
You will fail sometimes, accept it. Set your bar higher than who you are at the moment and move towards it, that's the best humans can do.

Good advice but I feel like these distractions also hinder me greatly in my pursuits so they are somewhat important. At the moment my capacity for discipline is very low

You've described a situation where you will have a lot of time freed up from activities that are (I assume) habits.
Perhaps also identify something you feel good about doing and do it in this new free time.
