If we can take a break from all the relationship and sex stuff
can we talk about dogs?
>tfw my dog is fickle with me
>sometimes when we're playing fetch he'll go sniff at the stick then run back towards me like "nah I didnt FEEEEL like it"
>sometimes he'll just look at me like "are u kidding me fgt" when I throw the stick
>only like 3-4 out of 10 times will he go after it
you cannot be a TruRobot unless even your dog doesn't respect you

I could never get my dog to fetch, maybey they have to be trained to do it ,
cause my dog would chase and grab the stick, ran around a bit and just dropped the stick somewhere random

I have a white shiba Inu named Pura, which is spanish for "pure" because I like my shit pure.
She's my homegirl.

Sometimes mine does this too.
>throw the stick
>he runs off and fetches it
>actually fetches it and starts to bring it back
>runs right past me
>lays down like 10 meters behind me and starts chewing on the stick
fucking doggo
My puppers are stankin up the room.

>tfw brush my dog but he still sheds every day because its getting hot in this part of the USA
>he's a shorthair breed
how does one deal with the loss of a dog?
>tfw I have 2 havanese puppers
>one was a runt and is going to stay puppy size the rest of her life
I love my dogs. My big mutt had to be put down due to cancer 8 months ago, I still miss him.
I have a black greyhound. She's the best friend I have in the world.
She's so calm and quiet. I have probably heard her bark like 10 times total in the 2 years I've had her. Sometimes I forget she's in the room with me when she's sitting right at my feet. She's such a sweetie

I had to put my old dog to sleep a few months ago and I'm still torn up about it. She was a golden retriever and almost 16 years old - ancient for her breed. Her arthritis was getting worse every day and the cancer came back.
She lived a long, happy life and I had her put to sleep before her life was pure agony. She could have made it a few more weeks but I wanted her to have a comfortable, dignified death instead of dragging it out as long as possible. She wasn't suffering at the end. She was resting her head on my lap and wagging her tail when she went.
I've been looking around online at shelter dogs in my area because I think having a new dog will help but I don't know if I'm ready for that yet. My heart still hurts when I see another dog that looks like my old dog.
