>It's another "my life sucks song" sung by some overpaid mainstream artist who's never had a real hard day in his/her whole life.
Give me a fucking break, you want me to feel bad about your breakup with your superstar significant other while you prance about in your mansion and proceed to drive around in your Lamborghini singing about how "broken up inside" you are?
Imagine if these people had real problems. In fact, imagine if they had YOUR PROBLEMS. What would their songs sound like then I wonder?

If I had $15,000 a year for the rest of my life and didn't have to work for it, I could live an extremely happy life.
I've evolved past caring about problems.

They didn't actually write the lyrics themselves

Burn down the disco, hang the blessed DJ. Because the music that they constantly play, it says nothing to me about my life.

They just wouldnt have become artists. Being a popular artist already implies that you are exceptionally talented, or rich. Just like any other things which involves the requirement to be way above than average people.
But to be relatable they of course sing about "le just generic people problem".
