Never had it measured, but I can't possibly bring my front row over the top of my bottom. If I close my jaw, I can fit the tip of my thumb into the space between my bottom and top row, so it's huge. I learned from a young child to do the "open smile" technique so I could look somewhat normal.

I did consult an orthodontist about surgery once but I was warned that it would be extensive and would change the entire structure of my face, and the cost made it not even a possible consideration. I've been incredibly self-conscious about it my whole life. I'm almost 30 now and have thought about looking into it again.
